My Reflection

I was learning how to use my senses add detail to my writing so that I can make my writing more interesting or my reader.
This writing was easy because I used my five senses to help me in my writing.
Something that helped me was my brainstorm because it gave more ideas to help me write.
Something that was tricky was to get some ideas for my brainstorm in my writing.
My next step is to put more ideas into my writing.

My Reflection

I have been learning to find information in a non-fiction book by skimming  and scanning.

Skimming is when we read quickly over a text or back to get an idea of what the book is about.
Scanning is when we look for specific information in a text and we look for key words or  phrases.
I read a book facts about bees.
I scanned the book facts about bees.
I budded up with Braxton to compare our animals using a Venn Digram.
I found this tricky to find idea that related  to my animals.

Making Inferences-Wold's Greatest Race

My Reflection

I am learning to make and justify inferences.
In this piece of works I had to use my inference skills to find out why the author thinks the Tour de France is the greatest race on earth.
I found this tricky because I had to look for information  but in your own words.
My next step is to put more information in my work.
I  am beginning to link implicit  information from the text to make an inference.
